| The PD9500-RT makes the durability of the Datalogic PowerScan family now also available to retail. The 2D area imager is perfectly suited for capturing current stock quantities, for support at the sales counter or for recording incoming goods. It withstands multiple blows at the counter, just like the original PowerScan Series, and is IP65-certified against the ingress of dust and liquids. The intuitive targeting system, the patented Green Spot and 3GL technologies simplify the capture of nearly all 1D and 2D barcodes. |
In addition, the PD9500-RT captures barcodes based on digital watermarks. These so-called Digimarc barcodes are not selectively marked on product packaging, but rather mark the entire surface invisibly. This makes the search for the location of the product barcode obsolete, increasing both throughput and efficiency to their maximum. The PD9500-RT features a practical multi-interface: connect the scanner simply via USB or RS-232 interface, depending on the requirement. |
